"Check in took a long time, then upon entering my room I discovered an unacceptable stain on the bed. The receptionist eventually changed the linen but it was an ordeal. Then when checking out at what I would consider a sensible time of 7am, the ‘night porter’ was asleep with his feet up in an armchair with a baseball cap over his face. This is not what I’d expect from a +€200 a night hotel. I won’t be back."

"Close to rembrandt square and all restaurants. Basic accomodations but enough for a 2 nigjt stay. The free breakfast is a bonus. 20 min walk to Amsterdam centraal station. Close to canals and attractions"
