"For the price, this was a good deal. The breakfast was good and the place clean. Overall, a nice friendly atmosphere. The TV was a bit pointless as only one English news channel worked. Good location and buses available to take you elsewhere. I was in a standard room and I wouldn't recommend this as it was a bit spartan. But it was clean and well maintained."

"This is a typical upscale Bangkok Hotel. Our issue was despite receiving a confirmation of the booking, and an email from Avani saying we are looking to having you and quotes THEIR booking confirmation number the reception.The receotion staff claimed for half an hour that there was no reservation and that Expedia had failed to forward it. In short they refused to honour the reservation, and their own confirmation email and booking number, for forty minutes. Not sure where you go with this when you can't rely on a confirmation from Expedia and from the property. Yes the building is nice and clean, but when one's trust in the process is erodedit is dispiriting after a very long journey. One hopes that a prepaid reservation would be respected in short order."

"The only thing bad about this location is that if you’re here during sunkran then anywhere u want to go will take 30 minutes. I had the 1 bedroom suite was like a small apartment AC was amazing housekeeping did amazing will book again if I’m in Bangkok also only 3 miles from Khaosan rd"

"Room was unique and clean. Some problem: 1. No drawers in room had to keep stuff on floor or luggage 2. Could not make tv work after firt time tirn room power off 3. No info on free breakfast maybe i miss read 4. Charge ameneties which is ok, but should be able to charge room. 5 lost a bank card in the hotel when inasked was goven dirextions to atm — lang issue not theft issue 6 the counter is blocked by plastic with two many signa The hotel is far from bangkok central which is good and bad . The hotel does have a unique charm 7 no drivers at bangkok airport understood where the hotel was even with address because liats as auto store Overall i loked the charm of the hotel, i liked the privacy of the staff , you could murder someone and maybe get no bad look —exageration , but a compliment. Really everything was fine with the exception of a chest of drawer would be nice , and some in room tv instructions . Visitors do need to knownits about a 300 baht grab ride anywhere , better place if you come with a car "

"It has one of the worst buffet. The toilet tap leaks, the water for drinking kept in a glass bottle has foul smell. Breakfast time too end by 09:20 am: the only so-called 4 starred hotel ending breakfast rime before 10:00 in entire Thailand! "
