3. Ski Portillo

Nestled in a valley framed by dramatic Andean peaks that reach over 13,000 feet (4,000 meters) in height is Ski Portillo. This is one of the oldest ski areas in South America. Around 25 feet (7.6 meters) of snow falls on the slopes of Ski Portillo every season, which creates skiable terrain from July to September. 4. Wulff Castle

5. Ahu Tongariki

The largest spiritual site of its kind on Easter Island, Ahu Tongariki comprises a long platform and 15 carved stone figures, known as moai, of varying shapes and sizes.
