Gros Piton is located south of Soufrière, on St. Lucia Island. The striking cone-shaped mountain is linked by an inland ridge to a smaller elevation called the Petit Piton. Together the two peaks are known as the Twin Pitons and are a UNESCO site due to their outstanding nature.
