Turin’s Egyptian Museum is one of the most visited attractions in the city, and rightly so. Holding over 6,500 artifacts in its displays and over 25,000 in storage, the museum is the only place you can see full collections of Egyptian artifacts outside of Egypt.

Originally built as a Jewish Temple, the Mole Antonelliana stands as a revered landmark in Turin. The building was completed in 1889, one year after the death of its architect, Alessandro Antonelli. Today the building houses the Italian National Cinema Museum and provides panoramic views of the city for visitors willing to brave its towering heights.

Head to the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino on a match day for a thrilling experience, as thousands of fans congregate to show their support for Torino F.C. Come here outside of match day to find a museum dedicated to the sporting history of the city or to tour the historic stadium. Soccer is a part of Italy’s national culture and this stadium is one of Turin’s most important landmarks.

The Piazza San Carlo is the perfect place to wander around and take in the sights of a classic Italian city or enjoy a rich espresso in one of the welcoming cafés. It has been a meeting place for the Torinese ever since it was built in the mid-17th century. It is located just south of central Turin. In the center of the piazza stands the striking monument of Emanuele Filiberto, a Duke of Savoy during the 16th century.

Dedicated to Saint John the Baptist, the Turin Cathedral has stood next to the Royal Palace since 1498. Taking seven years to build, the structure was constructed on the ruins of three older basilicas. The largest of these was also dedicated to Saint John, the others to the Holy Savior and Saint Mary of Dompno.
