No visit to Niagara Falls would be complete without a trip on the Maid of the Mist boat tour. In 1864, the stately Maid of the Mist earned her crust as a ferry service between the US and Canadian sides of the Niagara River. Now this venerable lady is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the Niagara Gorge, drawing millions of visitors every year.
