Things to do in Mangrove

Situated near the southern tip of Barbados, Miami Beach (or Enterprise Beach, as some refer to it) is a great spot for all the family, with everything from tidal pools for the little ones to respectable waves for the not-so-little.

Visitors to Barbados who fancy a bit of active fun in the sun consistently flock to Dover Beach on the island's south-west coast. A little slice of heaven on earth, Crane Beach is considered to be one of Barbados’ most outstanding beaches, and indeed one of the top ten beaches in the world. It’s no wonder then that this romantic haven on the island’s south-east coast is a popular choice for honeymooners.

As is the case with many Barbadian beaches, Accra Beach is known among locals by two different names, the other being Rockley Beach. Situated on the southern coast of the island, this beautiful strand boasts calm, tropical waters and soft, golden sand.

With its clear blue waters and reliably gentle currents, Mullins Beach is one of the most northerly beaches on Barbados. Given its distance from the capital, the beach is also one of the island's quietest, offering plentiful opportunities for leisurely strolls and soaking up the sunshine.

Located on the south-west coast of Barbados, Brighton Beach lies somewhat under the tourism radar and is mostly frequented by local Barbadians seeking a place to chill out after a hard day's work. That being said, its close proximity to the Bridgetown Cruise Terminal often makes it the first port of call for cruise visitors searching for somewhere to spend the day after disembarking from one of the many luxury cruise ships that dock nearby.
