A state park you can only get to by ferry, Burton Island is a jewel in Lake Champlain! You can camp there, or day trip as we did. A nature center on the island has a ranger and interpreter who do a great job explains the flora and fauna. There's a fantastic cafe for lunch. Cook is an award winning chef!
