In the early 1990s, I took my Civil Air Patrol squadron to Battleship Cove in Massachusetts for a weekend tour and sleepover on the USS Massachusetts (BB-59). This shot of the starboard side shows two of the 16-inch gun turrets, and five of the 5-inch turrets.
