Bodrum Beach is a thin, pebbly beach that runs around a bay on the east side of the town. One of its greatest assets is its close proximity to Bodrum’s town center, hotels and major attractions.

For approximately 2,000 years, Kos Port has played an important role in the life of the island. First as a trading post and in more recent years as a tourist gateway to the rest of Kos. It is also a pleasant place for a stroll and to enjoy traditional Greek cuisine in nearby tavernas.

Tigaki Beach is a gorgeous stretch of coastline that extends for more than 6 miles (10 kilometers). With so much space, clear water and views across to Turkey, it is a great place to come to unwind. Sunbathe on the sand, go for a swim and try your hand at waterskiing.

Bardakci Beach is a pretty beach that curves around the scenic Bardakci Bay. It’s the nearest sandy beach to the center of Bodrum and is often busy with both tourists and locals. Visit the ruins of the striking Myndos Gate to envisage a time when Bodrum was the fortified and ancient Greek city of Halicarnassus. Constructed in the 4th century B.C. by King Mausolos, the gate is one of Bodrum’s finest-standing historic monuments. Today, this imposing twin-towered gate stands in contrast to the hotel and commercial buildings that have since been built around it.
