Things to do in Afandou

Tsambika Beach takes its name from Tsambika Monastery, which sits on top of a hill at the north end of the beach.

Pefkos Beach is an easy-going beach resort that attracts a mix of young families, couples and locals. It is a place to enjoy lazy days on a long sandy expanse, well away from the bustle of the island’s larger towns and resorts. Pefkos Beach is spread around a small bay, flanked by hills and the tall pine trees that give this former fishing village its name. The Greek word “pefko” translates as “pine.”
