New Haven Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The property is centrally located to Yale, Toads for concerts, is close to highway and train station. Great restaurants within a short walk. One recommendation would be a locked entry from the parking garage as there is direct access to the hotel room floors. The garage is also gated, but the added layer would have made me feel more secure. Overall, great stay and I’d definitely come back!"

4/10 Poor

"The hotel had 8 floors and one of two elevators worked. The hotel was busy. Check in staff were nice and accomadating, check out staff was not as helpful. The room was not a clean as I would have liked as the soles of my white socks told me what the conditon of the floor was really like. Bathroom shower had a steady stream of a leak. On the positive side the breakfast was ok and there was plently of hot water. The new juice and resturant next door was great."

"The hotel was very good and so was the location. The restaurant and reception staff needed to be a bit more efficient. I had 2 rooms booked, but on checkin they said that one of the rooms had been cancelled. Though they gave us the second room, but the nect day our second room was again locked. They said that the booking was for 1 night only whereas it was actually for 2. The confusion was cleared after a bit of to and fro, but it was an unnecessary inconvenience."
