"Maybe it was just this weekend, with basketball and volleyball tournaments, and teams staying at the hotel, but the place was hectic, the elevator broke down (I had to walk down 20 flights of stairs to meet up with my family), and they didn't clean the room. I have always been happy with Sonesta hotels, but I won't come back to this one."

"Every staff member we met was extremely kind, the hotel was beautiful. Our room was clean and spacious. Great location & great rate so close to the mall. We were there for a cheer comp downtown but it was only a 20 minute drive. Would definitely recommend & stay here again."

"I had a very difficult time getting a hold of the staff over the phone to modify my reservation due to flight delays. When I asked for an extra pillow in my room, I had to call the front desk twice only to never receive it. Throughout the entire night, I had a very hard time sleeping due to a low battery fire alarm sound going off periodically. And lastly, the showers did not function properly. The hot water came on the cold side. Overall, I did not enjoy my stay here. Although the rooms were clean, I felt the hospitality and communication could have been tremendously better. "

"Motto by Hilton Philadelphia Rittenhouse Square was convenient after a flight cancellation, and it was available at short notice, but the overall experience left a lot to be desired. The area around the hotel did not feel particularly safe, especially late at night, and the lobby was dark and uninviting. The rooms were cold, bland, and very small, and they did not offer the comfort you would expect for the price. We checked in around 10:30 in the evening and it was still surprisingly loud, which made it difficult to settle in after a long day of travel. This is certainly not a place I would recommend for families, and there are far better options in the city for the same cost. It may have been the best we could get on such short notice, but it is not a hotel I would choose again under normal circumstances."

"Everything was great as usual but the first morning the maid just barged in to our room at 830 in the morning and found us in a state of undress. Was not happy about that. "

"I stayed for 1 night. Checking in was easy, the rotating doors to enter were not working, so I had to use the side door. Obviously not a deal breaker, just an inconvenience. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. The only issue was there was no bodywash left in the shower. I ended up just using the bar soap, but cleaning staff should definitely double check and refill if needed. Parking was a pain because I had to park 2 blocks down in a parking lot. Besides all that, the stay was great and would still return if I was back in the area. "
