"I recently stayed at the Prestige Hotel in Prince George and had a mixed experience.
On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and professional throughout our stay. Every interaction felt welcoming and efficient, which always makes a difference. The coffee shop in the lobby was also a standout—excellent breakfast options, great coffee, and very reasonable prices. It was easily one of the highlights of the visit.
However, there were a few issues that impacted our overall comfort. Although the hotel advertises itself as dog-friendly, there was no clearly designated area for pets to relieve themselves, nor were there waste bags or garbage bins provided. It was also evident from the amount of dog waste around the side of the hotel that this is an ongoing issue, which made things feel less clean and less accommodating than expected.
Noise was another concern. The hallways were quite loud, and we could clearly hear movement from the room above us, which made it difficult to relax, especially in the evening.
Inside the room, the blackout blinds did not function properly, allowing light to come in throughout the night, which affected our sleep. The beds were very soft, and the pillows were lumpy, which further impacted comfort. Additionally, the shower controls leaked significantly, which was both inconvenient and something that likely needs maintenance attention.
Overall, while the staff and on-site coffee shop were excellent, there are some operational and maintenance"
