"Looks ok from the outside, lobby is really nice and the staff were friendly and attentive, unfortunately the rest of the hotel just doesn’t meet the same standard. The place is old and tired and is in desperate need of a renovation, dirty stained carpets, paper thin walls, creaking floors, peeling paint in the room you name it. Did I mention it’s like a favela in Brazil, it’s like a maze challenge to find your room. Mercure hotels used to be premium, clearly not anymore. I won’t be returning"

"Well located near the SS&A Club and easy walking to Dean Street. The receptionist was very accommodating advising me to put the heater on as soon as I arrived at the room and at the same time offering me a late check out because she knew I was catching the train that leaves after 12:00 noon. The room was serviced properly the next day. The motel is a little dated especially the bathroom but everything you needed was there and in my opinion it was good value for the money I paid."
