The location is very convenient and we loved the canal and restaurants just round the corner. We were at the front of the hotel and it’s a bit noisy when the trams are running - but we did know that might be the case. Very good location, close to train station, close to Royal Academy den Haag, close to shops and restaurants. It would be useful to have a list of recommended restaurants in the area to try traditional Dutch food. Pannenkoeken, Indonesian Rijsttafel, and deep fried snacks like Bitterballen and Kroket were on my list to try, but the front desk had no local recommendations. A bit noisy at night due to trains and street traffic, but settled down after midnight.
