Lovely Leiden

Nice,traditional period hotel, overlooking a canal. 5 adjacent buildings joined together with antique furniture here and there. Friendly, helpful reception, nice breakfast. Super location for wandering around the very attractive university town of Leiden. Only downside is that cars have to be parked 800 metres away in Haagweg public car park. ( expect to pay about €23 overnight).

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast very good with amazing freshly baked bread straight from the oven! The hotel is in a very historic building, so the rooms are rather basic, but this is part of the charm in my opinion. Nice hotel in the centre of Leiden

This hotel provides good value for what you pay for. It is a charming little hotel in the city centre, walkable distance from the main university and many likely tourist destinations. The hotel itself was in good condition, the staff were cordial, the room was modestly appointed, but this is to be expected given the price. I appreciated the fact that the hotel had a decent continental breakfast option, which made the logistics of my visit simpler.

Was in Leiden for the university for a few days. Convenient neighborhood, everything perfectly comfortable and clean. The building's a bit old but in good condition. Only thing to be aware of is that there's no elevator - my room was on the third floor, and I was happy I'd packed light.

Lovely location

Had a short business trip to Leiden and wanted a historic hotel on the water. The location was lovely, the room clean and comfortable, and the hotel had a quaint charm about it. Unfortunately there was construction next door and renovations in the building. If I go back to Leiden I would still consider staying here again but would ask about any activity within and around the hotel.

The hotel is friendly, but the bar is full of drunks. The room has no air circulation, and I could feel the bed springs. Good water temp.
