Thap Lan National Park Trips (flight + hotel)

I booked this hotel due to the rating (9/10). It was far from that, the bed was as hard as the floor, the pillows were so bad we had to use our travel/plane pillows instead. The hotel was up a back street about 30mins by car from the city, with no other tourists around and the only shop was a 7eleven. The street was smelly and there was huge garbage piles everywhere next to the roads. I had paid for 2 tooms for 2 nights but left the next morning not caring about a refund for the 2nd night. In a new hotel now, in the heart of the city, surrounded by markets, shops, food, nightlife and we have lovely clean big rooms with soft beds. Hotel even has a pool for a much cheaper price. My advice, dont always believe the reviews you read, lesson learnt here!

Nice place for short visit. Nice pool, quiet, relaxing. Breakfast was good, staff helpful. Nothing much nearby off the resort grounds however. . You are a bit landlocked. Long & not easy walk to one nearby 7/11. There is small shop on site with amenities & water etc & a Starbucks in lobby.....helpful. Shuttle to airport was nice.

There was a significant amount of hair around the room. And when I had my socks on the floors they blackened quickly. It was an average stay and for what the price was, I expected it to be basic. But the cleanliness could be improved.

Such a relaxing way to spend our time in Chiang Mai. The view during breakfast and dinner was spectacular. The private pool for our room was the perfect way to spend the evening. This hotel is the gold standard for peace and tranquility.
