"Not as nice as advertised. Poor food quality, no alcohol service (the ”amazing wine tasting” I saw someone post about was clearly fake, as they don’t have a license). There is only one restaurant and it is filled with flies, and the food isn’t very good. The only okay thing was the actual room. Newly renovated and pretty clean. But there were some ants and spiders (no bedbugs). However the bed only had a sheet, no duvet, so it was very uncomfortable to sleep in. I’m grateful we were only...

"Leopard Trails is a fabulous rustic luxury camp in the beautiful Wilpattu Park. This was one of our favorite stays in all of Sri Lanka! The Naturalist guide who took us on safari was attentive, knowledgable, and a genuinely great guy. Back at camp, the rooms were comfortable and the private dining candle lit dinners were magically romantic. I recommend the suite with the plunge pool, it was bliss after a hot and dusty drive on safari. Do not miss the opportunity to visit this special place! "

The property looked nothing like the pictures, and mosquitoes were a major issue throughout our stay. Right away, we encountered problems with the hot water in our room. "The property is a newly built house, great design, very ill maintained. Smelly blankets, no bedsheet between the blanket and your body. Uncleaned rags in front of the bathroom. No tea-coffee and hot water kettle in the room, no water bottle in the room. I paid $43 for my stay, seems there are better options nearby at half the price."
