"Great location in town. We traded a for a downstairs room. It was cozy but smaller than the upstairs with the fireplace. The bath fan did not operate. Room was dated but clean and comfortable. Hope to get the updated room on the next visit. Great staff. Great coffee in the front lounge."

"Our first stay at the Rockwell in 2025 was excellent, so imagine my disappointment when our accommodations were not acceptable last week. First we had trouble with the TV remote and after a couple hours we realized it was the batteries. Meanwhile, we noticed the toilet seat was cracked clear through! The person at the front desk was no help even after explaining that it was no only pinching us, but also unsanitary. How this was not already reported and fixed, I cannot grasp. Then the thermostat started manfunctioning around bedtime, and the room got hotter and hotter, even after making sure the settings were correct. By morning time it was 80 degrees! And we had a very restless night due to the heat. We had to leave the bathroom exhaust fan on all night, or it would have even been 80+! So disappointed!!"

"This is a fun place for kids. The only downside was it felt a bit crowded with the cabins so close to eachother. It didnt feel very private, which I value. Others may not mind. The cabin was nice, clean, comfy. Bed was just ok, but the sofa bed was better than most for the kids 👍 The small indoor pool/hottub was still totally fun for us and the kids. The area around the resort is very busy, and we went during off season! We did not find an affordable dinner for our large family. All restaurants around there are just too overpriced ($15 chicken tenders is too much for one kiddo) So we opted for going to the grocery store in town for roasted chicken and deli sushi. (That is nothing to do with the resort, but maybe a tip for another family while in the area) "

"Cozy, clean cabin. Comfortable beds and great location. Pool was nice and enjoyed walking to stores and restaurants. Great little town!! Staff-everyone we encountered was polite, helpful and friendly!!!"

"PLEASE BE TRANSPARENT & ADVERTISE ROOM FOR WHAT IT IS! Beware the pictures posted on website are extremely misleading! We booked King suite with King bed, no we were NOT expecting a luxurious hotel, but we walked in our mouths dropped.. it was extremely small & It did not look like pictures posted online! There was pair chipped off wall around window unit, our toilet had issues, & The walls VERY thin, so We could hear everyone walking/ talking in rooms around us.. PLEASE BE TRANSPARENT & ADVERTISE ROOM FOR WHAT IT IS! It is small, clean and efficient…the positive is, check in was easy, & the motel location is right in town so you have easy access to everything nearby. I realize it is competitive with all the other hotel motels in the area, but TRANSPARENCY IS APPRECIATED so guests are not shocked when they walk in the door! ADVERTISE IT FOR WHAT IT IS"

"Great location! Walkable distance to all the shops and restaurants. Parking is $22 per night in the garage unless you find street parking. We would stay there again."
