"I stayed in the hotel section-not the historic building. I realized that the historic rooms only have a claw foot tub and you must share a public shower. I wasn't up for that on this trip, but maybe in the future. My stay in the hotel was fine. The room was basic and clean. It had a comfortable feel to it."

"The property is convenient for those of us arriving by bicycle. I didnt like the way I got messages, so many emails with a link with a list of messages and no way to tell which ones I had already opened and read. When I called a bit confused, the staff person said all the info was in the messages... but then answered my questions nicely. The room was big enough to store our two bikes without being a hazard. The place was clean and the co tine tal breakfast room Was well supplied. Recommend for through bikers."

"This is our second stay and we will be staying every year we make the trip down to WV. The rooms are clean and they are doing updates. Which look amazing. All the staff have been wonderful. The hot breakfast is so good even my 14 and 16 year olds get out of bed for it."

"Hotel was clean and beautiful. The staff are all amazing and very accommodating. The only thing is if you are coming to the hotel at night take you time and go slow sometimes it's hard to see the sign where you pull in. We will definitely stay again."

"The WiFi is as awful In our original cabin. They were willing to move us which provided better internet but the room did not have the same number of beds we had previously and the toilet didn’t flush. There were also REALLY bright exterior lights that we could not turn off. It was frustrating. It wasn’t “off season” but it felt like these were issues that should’ve been fixed before summer."
