"We had a wonderful stay at The Lodge at Old City Hall. The room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable, with thoughtful details throughout. We especially enjoyed the historical touches that highlighted the building’s past—they added so much character and made the stay feel special. "The hotel is well situated right off I40. The breakfast is ok. Needs to have more of a variety and freshness. Like fresh eggs and fruit! Too many carbs for my taste. The elevator broke on the last day. Felt bad for housekeeping and the handicapped. Had an incident with front desk clerk that told us to keep our two year old grandson quiet because she could not concentrate. He was excited to see us but was not misbehaving. He’s only a baby!!!! She had the nerve to say that to us, but yet...

"They take $100 out of your bank account and hold it until after you check out. We stay in a lot of hotels, and haven’t had this issue with other hotels. "

"I have stayed at the Jefferson Inn numerous times over the past five years. I have always found it to be a very good value. They provide all of the basics. Bed, tv, bathroom, etc., meet my needs very well. On one visit, I left my driver's license at the motel, and they mailed it to me. I will stay there again. Parking is very convenient. There are places nearby to eat and get gas."

"Worst experience I ever had at a hotel staff was extremely rude. Can't even take a bath because the hallways flood found a adult toy in my drawer wouldn't even let me stay an extra 10 minutes after checkout time to wait on my ride, an absolute overall awful stay. The only person that was nice in there, was Dylan he needs a raise "

"Receptionist upon arrival was delightful but when she heard me say “ the basketball game starts soon” she laughed and told me that if it was on CBS I wouldn’t be watching it. It was and I missed a 1 point regional final game. Not remotely funny since we had planned our drive around game time. In addition not one of the clocks in the room was set to the right time. I tried to set the alarm clock but needed a screwdriver to do so. Will definitely use another hotel chain next trip. "

"I stayed one night. Room was clean everything worked except I couldnt figure out how to close the many curtains in the window."

"The knob on the microwave was broken. The water on the bathroom wouldn't turn off all the way. The door wouldn't shut all the way. And the " Free" breakfast was a joke there was a waffle maker but no mix or much of anything. It was a very sad experience "
