"We booked a deluxe family suite. What we got was a basic room with a queen bed and a sofa bed with about 2 feet of clearance to navigate between . TV did not work entire time we were there despite staff trying to change out the remote. Fridge did not work although we were told housekeeping would look after it. Staff was pleasant enough but issues still did not get resolved. We feel it wasn’t worth what we were charged and requested a reduction in our rate but …"

"Our 2-night early May stay was wonderful. The location is perfect for those without a car as you can easily walk to the Acropolis Museum, the Acropolis, the Agora and through the Plaka district where you'll find lots of shops and eateries. The hotel itself is a true boutique hotel, with interesting rooms, unique decor (especially the spa area) and outstanding views from the rooftop eatery, Stork. The breakfast buffet at Stork featured everything from eggs to meats, cheese, fresh fruit, breads and pastries, juices and coffees.I thought the fresh OJ was particularly delicious. We also had lunch and dinner at Stork because the space is so nice and the food very good. They have the best hummus I've ever tasted topped with a sweet tomato jam. After a 4-hour morning walking tour my 90-minutes at Niche Spa that afternoon was so welcome. I opted for the "Ancient Hammam Ritual & Hydrotherapy Experience". The spa pool with its jets and waterfall relaxed me for 30 minutes, and then my therapist, Kristian, introduced me to my first Hammam treatment. Check out the spa website for photos and descriptions of the services. Finally I commend the staff at Niche as they were all friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Niche Athens and Niche Spa."

"Big family room, great roof top bar and pool area - better than those in the city centre. Great breakfast. Only downside was the loud banging and maintenance work being done in the early hours / mornings. Would have been nice to have known this before arriving to see about moving rooms or changing out travel timings."

"The hotel is located in a great area near the Acropolis and museum with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. During check-in, the front desk clerk was very confused and tried juggling three different check-ins concurrently. This resulted in my room going from being ready, to not ready, then back to ready again in a span of five minutes and was rather confusing. The same thing happened to my friends as well. The rooms are very dated and in need of a remodel. The bathrooms have outdated and dysfunctional fixtures. The shampoo/body gel was empty and wasn’t refilled the following morning by housekeeping, even though I had removed it from the wall and left it out so they’d know it needed a refill. The carpet in the room seems old and obviously hadn’t been vacuumed as I could feel small rocks while walking around in socks. The curtain for the room wasn’t functional either. Fortunately, there is a sliding metal door that could be closed for privacy as the neighboring apartments are just across the narrow street. If you’re looking for location, this is a good choice. If you’re looking for nice accommodations, I’d look a bit further. They do have a nice happy hour with buy one get one free cocktails from 4p-8p daily. However, you’re limited to the cocktails on their menu and you can’t mix and match. Beer and wine are not eligible for the happy hour special. "
