"The property is centrally located to the towns (Lucca, Volterra) we wanted to visit, but it is in the middle of nowhere. They provided us with a list of supermarkets. I think the one in Forcoli was the largest. We did eat at the Pizzaria nearby and the lasagna was good. It was nice to have an outdoor area to sit.The pool was nice. Good for families. Howver this property is not very good for people with accessibility issues. Lots of stairs and steps."

"A beautiful, relaxing property with incredibly kind and professional staff. Villa Lena has a character of its own that feels truly personal. We loved the design of the rooms and the touches of art throughout. The food was delicious and you could tell care was taken with its making. And again all of the staff was incredibly friendly and it was easy to get help when needed. We traveled here with two children and greatly appreciated all the support from the staff. Highly recommend Villa Lena."

"This is a very unique and tranquil spot. I even slept through the bells because they are lovely. It's easy to walk around and take in the nature that surrounds you. There is a very fun pub across the street with great food and company. "
