"Lower budget hotel, self check in, that is in heart of Jewish district. Lots of graffiti on run down buildings. Still felt safe. 30 minute walk to downtown square. Many restaurants and bars around the hotel."

Simple (yes, really a former hostel with several rooms with bunk-beds), clean, neat array of artwork from different countries, weekly art ateliers, with welcome hosts and a great patio cafe/bar. Filling breakfast available. Worth the visit. "
