"Pool and tub area were great"

"The staff is all remote on a screen somewhere in India. Even the front desk. Poor customer service and charged me an extra $10 to check in 30 mins before 3pm. After I waited 4 hours The room is dirty with cockroaches everywhere. The bed is creaky and the room smells of cigarette smoke even though it was meant to be a non smoking room. The walls are thin and u can hear everything from upstairs and the two rooms on either side and outside Terrible. Never again. "

"My review is in no way directed at the staff at the front desk. They were all very kind. But this hotel was awful. I checked into my first room and walked in and was immediately slammed with the smell of cigarettes. I went back to the front desk and they moved me to another room. The second room I went to had a different odor. The smell was stomach churning. Almost like someone poured sweet tea on the walls and let it ferment. I opened the window and blasted the AC hoping to air it out and left for a few hours. It didn't help. I thought I could make it through the night and would become nose blind to the smell, but the smell was so bad it kept waking me up throughout the night. Finally, at around 11:45pm I asked the lady at the front desk if I'm could move rooms again or get a refund. Due to no fault of her own, she was unable to accommodate my request, so I just turned my key card in and left to sleep in my car instead."

"We booked this specific location as it was close to work because we worked for Arizona bike week. I have stayed at Motel 6 before and understand that it’s not a top-tier place so I take that into consideration, however this room was extremely dirty with boogers and blood on the walls. The floors were so bad that just stepping on the floors with bare feet, made our feet turn black. We also chose this location for it being advertised that it had a pool. upon check-in we were told we could go around back and use the pool but when we got to the pool area, it was padlocked shut. When we asked the front desk worker why this was he was very confused and had no idea why. The next day we asked the new front desk person if the pool would be open and they said it was closed for maintenance until further notice. We also had to reactivate our room keys every day for the duration of our stay, as every day that we left for work and came back to gain access to our room, None of our key cards were active. Our room smelled entirely of smoke and made our clothes smell bad. I understand that it may have been a smoking room in the past, but it is still smelling of intense smoke. We are completely unhappy with our stay, but had nowhere else that we could go with short notice as most places were booked with people in town for bike week and anything we could find was charging an arm and a leg due to being last minute. The only thing that was semi OK was the friendliness of the employees. "

"Room is clean, staff is friendly, outdoor pool is good size, around the area is open space and 4 closed gate by 4 corners. Also 10 minutes from the attractions , like Hole in the rock, zoo , papago park and Desert Botanical Garden"

"The lady of front very rude the white short lady. Extremely rude she should not be there they need to get rid of her.. I have never encounted somebody with her like her oh my God.. Please management Do something about her she is rude as hell.. I don't know how you guys can have somebody working like that there"
