My booking and payment had been confirmed. I even received an email the next morning to see how our stay was going and another asking us to rate our stay. We booked through hotels.com and still trying to get to the bottom of what happened. We ended up in a quadruple room in the Travel lodge (at our own expense) this was not the family...

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful chalet. The property was clean, comfortable, spacious, and very well maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was excellent, with lovely surroundings and easy access to nearby attractions. It was out of town, but close enough to easily visit the main attractions, while being far enough away to enjoy a peaceful and quiet stay. The chalet had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and it was clear that a lot of thought had gone into making guests feel comfortable. The hosts were friendly, helpful, and responsive throughout our stay. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily recommend this chalet to anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful place to stay. We would definitely love to come back!"
