Bout St. Maurice is a ski town in the winter and a hiking/ biking town in the summer.My wife says this is one of the best areas we have ever seen and thinks the motel is the best as well. The hotel manager Julie had offered her sincere help for our logistics to hotel and even we arrived late at hotel, the restaurant manager was provided us a warm welcome with delicious dishes after our long hours drive. "I found this property to be lovely spot to stay with lovely design and very convenient. The food was okay, not great for the cost with breakfast buffet being mostly cold (as in eggs, bacon, pancakes). To be honest I found most of the staff to be unfriendly bordering on almost rude, it was always as though you were an unwelcomed inconvenience."

"The room was lovely, looked bigger in pictures but was perfectly fine. Comfortable bed and pillows, the spa was great with the ice room relieving aches after a days skiing. Breakfast was really accommodating for a gluten free intolerance and the staff were extremely helpful. Would recommend staying! "

"The hotel itself is fine and the staff are excellent. But to describe the hotel as "ski-in/ski-out" is wholly misleading. The exit/entrance involved a dangerous traverse across about 100m of sheet ice. The hotel itself recommended against using the route, instead suggesting using the free shuttle. That runs about every 90 minutes, so is basically useless. So don't stay here if you don't want to have to drive to the resort each day. Also, don't make the mistake of buying the full Paradiski...
