It is a small boutique hotel with friendly service in a unique area of the city, the market place. There are many restaurants and artists as well as the large flea market.

Always lovely to stay

The service is outstanding - casual, friendly and helpful. My third stay at the hotel. Because the rooms are small the details of housekeeping are important. That is where some progress could still happen.

The Hotel is a jewel in the heart of Jaffa/ south Tel Aviv. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure that customer experience is A . Breakfast in plentiful and the rooms are comfortable. The Lobby is picturesque, located on the ruins of old Byzantine church. While the rooms are a bit small and there is some outside noise relating to the location of the property, if you are thinking of staying here, you should not be disappointed at all.

We stayed for two nights at this hotel. Everything about it was great. Fantastic location in Jaffa. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. There is happy hour from 5 to 7 pm where they serve free hors d’oeuvres and wine. Because we had an early start one morning, to go on an excursion, they packed us a takeaway breakfast which was amazing and went well over and above what we expected. Room had a lovely bathroom with really nice complimentary toiletries. We had a balcony overlooking the sidestreet which was a little noisy during the day as expected in a city location, but can’t fault the hotel at all.

Great location, super staff

We can't say enough good things about this hotel staff. Everyone at the Market House Hotel, especially Abraham, provided the best service we’ve ever received at any hotel we’ve been to. From the minute we arrived, they made us feel very welcomed. The rooms were clean and well-decorated, and the building was very centrally located in Jaffa. We had an urgent medical need arise, and were at a loss for what to do. Abraham located us a travelers clinic and made us an appointment, which was totally above and beyond what we expected. We highly recommend this hotel not only for the location and building itself, but especially for the level of attention to detail and service provided by its staff. He also found us a great tour of Jerusalem that left from Tel Aviv and showed us the main sights. We appreciate you, Abraham!

Fantastic hotel option! Small but very comfortable. In a safe and fun area with cafes/outdoor dining around the hotel. Close walk to the coast and many of the sights. Would definitely stay there again and again!

Reserved 2 "superior" rooms with balcony. This was once a very nice hotel but has not been maintained and it is very over-priced for the current offering.

Excellent hospitality

We were made to feel like welcome guests at check in. The room was small but comfortable and had minimal storage space for clothes. Location in the heart of Jaffa is excellent Breakfast is excellent.

New design in the old quarter

I stayed here for nine days recently enjoyed it thoroughly. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. The room was a good size, with a small balcony to drink my coffee on. Due to the age of the building, it lacks panoramic windows but that’s part of the charm.
