"Our room was very clean and remodeled well. We were only staying one night so we booked the cheapest king bed room. This room #24 was an attic room which had no windows except for two skylight window on the ceiling. Didn’t have screens and it rained that evening, so we closed them. That made the room very hot and stuffy. Other rooms had balconies and I’m sure were very nice. Also, they didn’t have small towels for the shower. Breakfast was from 8-10. Der Westerhof Tegernsee Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Fantastic hotel with stunning views over the lake. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here - we all felt incredibly relaxed and could t get enough of the views! The staff at the hotel are all very friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was great and loved the fact there was lactose free milk! The only thing to be aware of is there is a steep 20 minute walk to the town and so taxis are needed in the evening if you don’t have a car - they cost 11 euros one way. We will definitely be back!"
