"Ich war vor 3 Jahren in dem Hotel und es war für die Verhältnisse gut , aber dieser Jahr war es eine reine Katastrophe, ich habe 2 mal das Zimmer wechseln müssen , im ersten war der Spiegel kaputt und das Bad nicht sauber und kleine gelbe Flecken auf dem Bett , im zweiten Zimmer waren die Betten voll mit gelben Flecken , an der Rezeption sagte mir das wäre normal das käme vom waschen , dann der Tresor in allen Zimmer gesperrt , habe gefragt das man ihn mir öffnet der Techniker ist beim Mittag...

"We enjoyed our stay at dar lala Chafya. It was an authentic experience to live in a real Moroccan house of the old medina (Fes al bali). The house was spacious and a good size for a family of four (2 bedrooms). There was a terrace, dining room, sitting section with a tv with youtube for the kids and bathroom of good standard and size. We visited in December with cold nights, so we were glad to have heaters on in all sleeping rooms, dining area and the bathroom, and thick Moroccan blankets....

"This property is a gem and I come back a few times a year just to relax in beauty, luxury and quiet. Fes is my favorite destination in Morocco and this ryad is stunning and hospitable. "Expedia rates this Riad as "impressive". Well, they're many impressive riads in Fez, but this is not one. The building is nice and could be a wonderful riad, but it's poorly managed and maintained with a result far worse than in pictures. It's definitely not a 4 starts hotel, as pretended, rather a B&B. Two people take turns 24 hours, sleeping in the sofas. They do their best, but this is not the kind of service one can expect. Breakfast is correct, not excellent. The rooms in the upper floor...
