I think they are new managers or owners and a bit of work needs to be done. Great quiet location. Bedding was not clean so we contacted them and they came to try to rectify the issue as 9pm.

The staff were warmly & friendly. The location is quiet and restful with beautiful surroundings. Close to town & scenic river walks. The hotel is very run down though. Creaky floors with thin walls. Shower was warm not hot. TV had great use of Apps to stream from my phone. Heat pump was lovely. I enjoyed my stay for the price I paid.

Excellent value for money. Lovely large 2 bedroom chalet with new looking bathroom and kitchen. The spa bath in its own rear room was lovely and relaxing. Peaceful surrounds but the walls are thin between units. Very accommodating staff who let us check in early. Would definitely stay again.

We booked this place as an overnight stop halfway to our destination after a long drive. Due to unexpected traffic, we arrived around 6pm, but we had been in touch with the receptionist, who was very accommodating and kindly waited for us. Check-in was smooth and easy. The bedroom was clean, tidy, bright, and warm, with high ceilings. The heater had already been turned on before our arrival, which was a lovely touch. The pure cotton linens were very comfortable, and we had a great night's sleep. We really appreciated the green tea and coffee. I especially loved having green tea before bed! The only thing missing was perhaps some hot chocolate for our little boy. There is a microwave to reheat food and a refrigerator for leftovers, which is very convenient for travellers. The shower is small but perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. It's a very budget-friendly place and a great option for travellers looking for somewhere clean and comfortable to rest. There are also free geothermal hot pools and paid hot pools nearby. The only downside was the lack of regular TV signal unless connected to the internet, although the Wi-Fi was good. This wasn't a major issue for us, especially for a short stay. Overall, we had a comfortable stay and would definitely recommend this place for a budget-friendly overnight stop.

We had to check in very late and they had everything ready for me, including the heat pump working before we arrived. The cottage (especially the beds) was really comfortable and fully equipped. Plenty of place to park in front of your room or cottage.
