I had a really enjoyable stay at Baycrest Lodge. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy, which I really appreciated, and everything was comfortable and well looked after. I’d happily stay here again next time I’m in the area.

Very pleasant check in and the room was spacious and very clean. The view of the lake was amazing and the chairs on the balcony were very comfortable so great to sit and enjoy it. Good kitchen area and fridge with milk was a nice touch. Easy 20 min walk into town. Would definitely book again. Thank you.

Excellent place to stay. Warm fuzzy blanket on bed. Murphy bed was comfortable big size of the one bedroom. Great location. Helpful staff. Pool was heaven. Must stay if you’re in Taupo.

Good location, we could easily walk to town. The pool was good, small but good. Parking would be a problem if a units guests brought more than one car. Amenities sounded great, but we could not use our spa bath as they ran out of hot water. Also promoted unlimited wifi, technically true but it always said connected with no internet, and these days that was not acceptable. For these reasons we will not be looking to stay there when next in taupo.

The unit was clean and spacious, well stocked and had a private hot tub outside which was lovely to relax in after an adventurous day. The larger geothermal pool was also a treat but not easy to get in or out for those who have low mobility. The owner was very approachable and helpful. Plenty of car parks but a little tricky backing out of some spaces. Enjoyed our stay.
