If you are not looking for a fancy place, and checking out a place right in the center of things and enough to get by then go for this place. The only thing I had a difficult time was bringing the luggage up to the second floor"

The location is right in the middle of everything and all though there was hundreds of people milling about outside at restaurants or sightseeing it was perfectly quiet inside the room. The building itself was a new construction and incredibly well insulated. Is by far the best place I’ve stayed in New Zealand and will gladly stay there again"

"We arrived earlier than expected so had the pleasure of the staff telling which hikes suited our needs. They have a great book with the info also. I didn’t realize how new the rooms were. What a special place with great location, phenomenal views of Mount Sefton, and the night sky - surreal!! Highly recommend!! "

"An enjoyable overnight stay- very comfortable bed with great sheets - liked the fact you could open the windows. No issues with the Wi-Fi and breakfast was good with several choices. Overall - very good."
