Perfect place to stay in the ski village that let us park overnight in the lot and walk straight to the village and lifts. Barbara was great at communicating and made sure to check in and answer any question we had. Would highly recommend for any ski trip.

Unit was clean and cozy as advertised. Wifi was very poor! Due to the elevation, it was hard to breath. Taos Ski Valley was almost entirely closed. I left after spending only one night. I will try again during ski system!

Nice room near main lift

Great room for a single or couple. Clean room and updated building. Proximity to main ski lift is excellent. I would gladly stay here again.

The unit is very charming! Perfect for one or two people. It has a great Mountain View. If I was skiing this trip, perfect location. I was here for a business trip. The parking is a 1/4 mile away which is inconvenient when in business attire. Also, there was a major construction site going on right in front of the unit. The sounds of men working and trucks started at 6am. Again, I am sure it will be over by ski season.

Shelly was an absolutely perfect hostess as well as hotel manager. She went out of her way to be sure we were comfortable, happy and relaxed. She is an absolutely wonderful person. Rooms were clean and comfortable too.

The front desk manager Shelley was so detailed oriented and efficient. She contacted us often before arrival about reservation details and driving directions. Facility was clean and pleasant despite major road construction outside of property

The condo we stayed in was super clean, modern and cozy. Shelly, the manager of the condos, went above and beyond for us to make sure that we were comfortable. My friend and I were there for a trail race at TSV that weekend and Shelly had a very nice little "runner's gift" waiting for us in the condo along with a inspirational message. I would definitely stay here again.

Memorial Day weekend getaway. Quite warm. Lots of construction on roads. Hard to get around. Only 2 shops open, 1 restaurant. Very nice room, clean, updated. Small shower. Toilet seat fell apart. We had to put back on. Window didn't want to open or close. No A/C. Very comfortable bed. Lots of pillows. Nicely decorated. Poor view.

A perfect getaway

It was amazing. The people(owners) are the nicest. The location is perfect. Right in the middle of the village (not Taos). The rooms were great and clean. The balcony was another highlight

Quiet time in Taos

Perfect room/condo facility for our hiking headquarters. This facility is more like renting individual condo units than a room at a hotel. Our suite had everything we could want at a great off-peak price. Late October and early November is very quiet - only one business open in the area - Tim's Straydog Cantina, where we had two enjoyable casual dinners. Powderhorn's GM Thom was very accommodating and helpful.

Nice Outdoor based stay

It was a nice stay at Powderhorn Condominiums in the Taos Ski Valley. The daily property manager, Thom, was very pleasant and helped answer questions about the area, hiking trails, where to eat, etc. The area is obviously as beautiful as can be - you've got to be an outdoors person to appreciate staying in the Ski Valley. Being the middle of September, that was the one drawback if you wanted to experience different options for restaurants, food, adult beverages, etc; there was really 1 restaurant open all day and another open Thursday through Sunday. Otherwise, it's a 30-45 minute drive out of the Ski Valley to the Taos area, which does offer a lot of great places to eat. This stay was the definition of serenity - up in the mountains, clean air, and no noise.
