"Our aloha cabin was really lovely and comfortable. It was also super clean. The kids loved the pools and waterslide. We loved the whole park. There is a bowling club next door (food not great) or cheeky dog restaurant across the road (food great) which was handy but I would have loved a cafe on site or even just coffee. That was the only thing missing for me. Also if you could pick this park up and put it in shoal bay that would be even better cos I didn’t love the location."

"Absolutely loved our stay! The reception staff was helpful and just lovely, bringing towels to my kids when she heard they were in the pool. The apartment we stayed in was the 3-bedroom apartment. It was quite dated, however clean, and there was everything we needed, really. Great positon to go for walks to various beaches that surround the area and close to Nelson Bay."

(Sad Face) I just love this place, the staff are so wonderful & are always happy to go the extra mile yet so modestly & kindly make you feel like nothing is a bother or too much to accomodate in their efforts to show that you're valued as a customer & feel welcomed like a family friend. The vibe is like a big safe warm hug. The rooms provided are generous in space, ameneties are varied & top notch & the customer service extended is of international standards. And No I wasn't promised anything to say all these great things about the Gateway, but Ive tried the rest & dont even have to guess you'll be impressed- by the Best Hotel in town!!"
