"The property is lovely - nice rooms, great shower - but the food is just okay. We had a great stay and the staff was very friendly. It is fairly easy to get into Tangalle itself from this property, though you will likely need to organize transportation because walking down the main road to get into town is a bit harrowing (a tuk tuk will be $1-2 USD each way). "Positive: The family running the hotel is very sweet and kind. It’s also located close to the beach where you can watch Turtles, so that’s a plus. Negative: Unfortunately our room was very dirty. It looked like it wasn’t cleaned at all after the previous guests left. Many, many hair on the bed, pillow and ground. Dead insects on the floor, in the bathroom and the mosquito net above the bed too. 0/10 for cleanliness. Our checkin was a little rough also, as nobody was there when we arrived. The...
