We came for a military function. Our basic room we booked wasnt cleaned yet so they upgraded us to a FANTASTIC room. Way too big for my wife and i haha. We felt like we were royalty, which is a weird feeling for us. But hey, we took advantage of it. The views of the ocean were magical.

The staff was super friendly and over the top helpful with any assistance. The rooms were large with a gorgeous view. The beach was right in front of the hotel. Best beach I have ever been to. Location of hotel was perfect to get around and do things.

The dining area was amazing: the food was delicious and varied, and the service was excellent. The pools were especially impressive — clean, well-kept, and with a beautiful view. Dusit Thani is a premier hotel property on Tumon Bay. You know this as soon as you walk in and smell their signature lobby scent. Staff is friendly, housekeeping is good and the property itself is well-kept. Dining options in and out of the hotel are available. The music in the lobby lounge is a little loud for our taste especially considering it is indoors. It was not a scene for relaxing cocktails but you have the option to go outdoors, albeit sitting in heat and humidity. Views of the bay from the lobby to the oceanfront rooms are excellent. Pools are nice and refreshing and the option to use its sister property’s pool is nice when you’re looking for lounge chairs. Beach area is absolutely gorgeous. Will easily come back to this property when we visit Guam again.

Location is excellent right in the middle of the beach strip and next to shopping malls and dining options. Beautiful ocean views from every room. The executive longer had a fantastic sunset ocean view and good food and beverages. Front staff needs to be trained better if the hotel wants to provide 4-5 Star experience. Some Front staff barely spoke English and tried to sabotage a request to make a reservation for the in-hotel spa.

Overall not worth the price. First issue - The room was warm and the AC did not help at all. If you’re like me and can’t sleep in warm/hot rooms do not come here. They were not able to fix the issue. They said because it’s hot outside but I stayed at hotel Nikko here in Tumon and the A/C worked better in the hot days. Also hotel Nikko had a larger window and a balcony and it was cooler. Second issue - the comfort and pillow case made me itchy and you would think the quality of bedding would be softer but it was not. Third issue - you can tell they do not deep clean between stays. My end table was dusty, the tv stand was dusty, and the top of my bed was dusty. If they don’t even wipe those surfaces down imagine the lack of effort in everything else. They most definitely did not vacuum the carpet it looked like a seasoned steak. When house keeping was cleaning I didn’t hear not one vacuum. For $322 a night I shouldn’t be dealing with these things. The bathroom was nice, nicely decorated, nice staff they gave me a fan on my second night just kinda helped, breakfast was amazingggg the highlight of my stay, pool amazong, task girl amazing, spa was also amazing and I loved being so close to the beach. Just had issues in the room which to me is the most important part.
