Tampa hotel rooms a the Loews

"Two down sides to our stay. Upon arrival at 7:30PM on a Sunday, could not get anyone in the bar/restaurant and had to go to the font desk to ask for a server. Took 10 minutes to get hot water in the shower the entire stay and then could not get it to regulate. Only hot or cold water."

"Place was nice. Needs some room updating and outside building. Good deal and great staff. "

"The AC in the room was tucked away by the bathroom. So the room didn't cool that much. Couldn't get the Wi-Fi to work. I will pick a different hotel next time im in the area. "

"Arrived late due to flight issues. Slow checkin. Given a room key. Went to the room it was uncleaned, dirty linens on one bed no linens in second bed. Went to front desk was given a second room key. Went to that room and it was occupied by another couple. Imagine their surprise when I had a key also. Given a 3rd room key, now 2am. Reserved two beds for myself and my adult son. All that was left was one bed. "

"This is not a resort! It has a pool, but there is no coffee shop or decent place to eat on the premises. The bathroom is really small. There’s a window in the bedroom that faces out into the hall where light leaks in at night. There are no safes! There is no placard to say “do not disturb” but Cleaning is only once every seven days allegedly. Overhead light flickers and burns out over the desk area. No towel service. Elevator is cranky and extremely slow. Sitting areas are in garage. No nice public area to meet for coffee or play cards. "

"We had a great stay in the Hampton Inn Downtown Channel District. We stayed before and after a cruise and could not have been happier. The place was clean and beautiful and the staff was great! We took the shuttle to/from the cruise terminal and the driver (I'm so frustrated that I can't remember his name) was great! He gave us tips for spending the day in Tampa after we returned to the hotel following the cruise. The hotel was convenient to the terminal and there were many places to eat and walk around. We would happily cruise out of Tampa and use this hotel again. Our only negative was the traffic noise from cars racing up and down the road...but that's not a hotel issue. "

"We love this hotel. It was perfect for us. Because Bush gardens is next door I highly recommend we even stayed an extra the kids loved the pool. Buffet was great. Rooms were big"
