"We had a wonderful stay at Esencia! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The grounds and pool were beautiful, well kept and clean. The rooms are set back from the main road so it was very quiet and we enjoyed listening to and seeing birds and monkeys from our balcony! "Excellent stay. Lodge is a hidden gem at an affordable price for all Euro luxuries. Extremely clean, new bathrooms, Hilton style beds and pillows (Slept like a baby!) Will definitely stay there again. Steps from beach and in town perfect location, with free parking on-site. "
