Hotel mas que hostel, a 10 minutos andando a la Plaza de Pto Maldonado y a 3 minutos del mercado central. Interiores bien, aunque algo oscuros. Habitacion muy tranquila, limpia, con armarios y mesas suficientes. Lo mejor el personal, pues los dueños son como de tu familia por el trato amable, las facilidades y el desayuno excepcional con zumo natural, huevos y mucho mas. Muy comodo y barato, repetiria por el trato humano y el precio.

Quick forest stop

Short stop over before a forest adventure. Staff fantastic and very helpful, good English and clean rooms. A bit stark, but that's our taste and a bit out the way, had to get a taxi into town.

Would stay again!

They are building a new Terrace on the roof and felt sorry for us hearing the noise in the afternoon. They gave us a discount on the room. Gave us a nice breakfast and were very helpful.

Great Value with a great staff

What you get for your stay at Pirwa is a very good value. The room has a ceiling fan which helps circulate airflow especially when you turn the air conditioner on. The bed, room, and bathroom is comfortable for what you are paying and plus you get breakfast. If you are up for a walk, the plaza is not too far in my opinion. The best thing about this place is the staff.. They are very friendly and accommodating. The day we checked out, we forgot our camera bag and small guitar. They were contacted by airport staff and they quickly got a taxi driver to hand deliver us the bags. We are very thankful for their kindness and help. Thank you Pirwa staff!

Hidden treasure

This hostal was fantastic. Excellnt service from Yolanda and staff. Very attentive. Location was perfect. Close to central market. 10 minute walk to the main plaza amd the mirador. Restaurants closeby. It's in a local neighborhood not like hotels in the main street but for the price and amazing service - Perfection!

Super friendly staff! Was very helpful.

Staff were very sweet and helpful, especially with helping us with Star Peru who neglected to put our luggage on the plane from Cusco. Hotel is not too far from the central square...about a 5-10 minute stroll. No hot water for shower but this was no biggie as a cool shower was just what was needed in the heat. A/C is a 20 Soles option. Breakfast is simple - juice, coffee/tea, fruit, bread with jam. Clean and comfortable. Would come again. Staff were lovely.

Bom para hospedagem curta!

Hostel com pessoas bem prestativas, o quarto é bom mas achei algumas falhas na própria estrutura, como as cortinas muito finas. Mas o café da manhã é excelente. O quarto com ar-condicionado ganhou pontos também. Tranquilo, e staff prestativo.

We stayed here while the riots were happening and the hotel were very good for fulfilling the reservation when most other places had closed business. Rooms were hot but air conditioning (20 soles to use) helped!!
