"The villa is beautiful, well equipped and spacious, with some lovely traditional design and decor features. After visits to nearby sites around Ourika, the villa pool offered a welcoming cool down from the heat. "The property manager and all the cooks did an amazing job at making us feel welcome. Although there was a language barrier they were extremely helpful and prepared an amazing buffet for breakfast every morning. The rooms and communal areas were cleaned every morning for us and the staff gave clean towels for both the rooms and the pool every day. "I nearly cancelled my stay here, with my 10 year old, when I read the recent reviews leading up to our stay. But my son loves swimming and water parks, so I thought we’d give it a go and not expect too much; we were only staying for 3 nights. It far exceeded my expectations and we had a great time here. The hotel and waterpark is tired, in places, and it’s not luxury, but the lovely staff and my son’s smiles made up for that. The all inclusive food was nice. I can imagine it might get repetitive after a week, but there are so many options. It was busy at peak meal times, but we were there in high season so can’t expect a peaceful dinner. The staff work incredibly hard to keep fresh food coming out and tables cleared and cleaned. We were allowed to stay after we checked out, until 6pm as my son was enjoying it so much. We would definitely go back, for another short stay, if we go to Marrakesh again. "

"Wow, what an absolutely fabulous place! It’s exactly what we hoped for - peace and tranquility. The staff are superb and cannot do enough for you. The most instagram worthy place I have ever been to! Of note for those planning a trip, we stayed in the ‘low season’ (I.e. July/August). The hotel was only 20-30% full which made the stay feel even more intimate. We guess people are put off by the temperatures in Marrakesh, however it’s at least 5-10 degrees cooler in the mountains. Our stay was hot but definitely tolerable! "
