Great hotel, wonderful staff, great location! Super close to restaurants and only an 8-10min walk to the beach. The grounds are very well maintained, the pool area is nice and relaxing. All the rooms and balconies have a nice view and face the pool area. The balcony is very comfortable to sit and enjoy morning coffee. Greg was very welcoming, helped us carry our luggage to our rooms, gave us tips for the area and made sure we were comfortable. Highly recommend!

Stayed here for 4 nights with my husband and had a great experience. Greg and Katie (the owners) are lovely and welcoming. The pool is the perfect spot to cool off in the afternoon. We stayed in the G suite which was spacious and had an outdoor shower which was neat. There is a bar on site with an excellent bartender. The only downside is the bar only opens at 3pm and there are no food options onsite. There are many restaurants nearby though, so it’s not difficult to find food or drinks.

My husband and I just spent 2 weeks at this new boutique hotel. Hosts Greg and Katie take a personal approach to making their guests feel right at home, and are very accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our conversations and laughs at the bar, tended to by the attentive and personable Neke. Cleaning staff Odette and Erica were lovely and took great care in making sure our room was perfectly stocked and cleaned. The salt water pool was very nice. We spent alot of time there, meeting other tourists. There was a real sense of community. The property is within mere minutes to absolutely everything and about a 10 minute stroll to the beach. It was a perfect winter getaway in the sun. We shall return!

We had a great stay at the WET Hotel in Tamarindo! The rooms and overall property were very clean and well-maintained. The AC runs all day, which was perfect for the heat, and we loved the thoughtful pull-out drawer under the bed for luggage — such a smart touch. They also provide drinking water, which was super convenient. One feature we thought was really cool was the projector in the room — it made relaxing at night feel like having our own mini movie theater. The pool area was clean and relaxing, and there’s a bar on site that offers brunch options. Location is another plus — it’s not too far from the beach, and there’s a supermarket and plenty of restaurants close by. We were also able to get early check-in, which made our arrival so much smoother. Most importantly, the staff were wonderful — very friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Tamarindo!

I highly recommend this boutique hotel. It’s in a great location, an easy walk to the beach and main strip but still away from the noise and crowds, though it was still on a main road where you can still hear the loud trucks, motorcycles and ATVs passing by. The rooms were compact but very well designed, modern, comfortable and clean. The pool was a nice place to spend an afternoon, and I especially like the shallow wading area where you can lie down in the water to cool off. Check-in and check-out could be a bit of a pain as the reception/check-in area is not always open or attended (but has a WhatsApp number to call or text), however the check-in/check-out process was quick and easy. Katie & Greg were extremely nice and helpful hosts/managers, along with their excellent staff. Though some of the staff do not speak English, they were very eager to help and ensure a pleasurable stay. There is no restaurant in the hotel, which is fine as there are tons of great places to eat nearby (and a supermarket a few doors away), but they do offer coffee and hot and cold water at the bar near the pool. I really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely return here the next time I’m back in Tamaindo. Thank you Greg & Katie, and pura vida!

I was greeted with great communication from the staff as soon as i landed in LIB airport. They allowed an early check-in. The room was really clean, the bathroom was new, great water preasure, and the bed was outstanding. I was there for golf and usually concerned about mattresses not being firm enough. All the beds there are brand new and remarkably firm. The bar searve amazing old fashions, mai tai, and top notch tequilas. The staff there made my experience one of the best. I'm afraid more people will discover this place and rooms not available for my next visit. Will ONLY stay here for my future bookings. Thanks Wet Hotel!
