Everything at Ocho was amazing, the customer service went above and beyond to make it have a family feel and that we were always taken care of. The rooms were amazing, breakfast every morning was delicious, the beach club and restaurant was one of the best on the beach with great music. The location is extremely close to all restaurants.I felt super safe which was something I worried about being right on the beach but the rooms are very protected. I have zero bad things to say about this place, 10/10 experience and would HIGHLY recommend staying here!

Very unique place, artsy, non-corporate, delightful. Bungalows had covered porches with very comfortable outdoor furniture, including tables, couches, fans and lighting. AC worked great. Ilse and her staff are incredibly responsive and go out of their way to make this a wonderful and welcoming place. Breakfast is right on the beach but in the shade of trees and umbrellas. Walking distance (5 min) to vibrant downtown with clubs, excellent restaurants and shopping. We ate at the hotel’s small beachfront restaurant several times in additional to breakfast (which included lots of different tropical, costa to an, and American breakfast options). Wildlife is all around including monkeys, egrets, a crocodile (fenced out), and we saw an iguana in the trees.

I absolutely loved the bungalows! The property in its entirety was beautiful! The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean and huge! The staff were amazing and helpful. Shout out to Priscilla, Gio, Pome, Gabriel and Ruby for exceptional service.The food was freshly made and delicious. Thank you for making my 40th birthday a memorable and special celebration!

Our bungalow was a beautiful sight, and we had the privilege of seeing monkeys, raccoons, and even a crocodile! The restaurant area offered a breathtaking view. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, remembering our names and making sure we had everything we needed. Sue was particularly great—friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we required. Ilse was amazing, going above and beyond to make each day of our stay special. She provided recommendations, engaged us in delightful conversations, and made us feel truly valued. To celebrate my 40th birthday, Ilse elevated the festivities by decorating our room while we were away. She also spoke to the chef to prepare our catch, and dinner was simply delicious, complemented by the rest of the food. We had an incredible time here, and Ilse truly made our vacation unforgettable. If you’re visiting Tamarindo, we highly recommend this place!

The property was everything I was hoping for. It was beautiful, quiet, peaceful. But what we loved most was the amazing and hospitable staff that was so friendly, and eager to make us happy at any time day or night. We really loved the uniqueness of the bungalows and appreciated the natural beauty. We did NOT want to stay in a conventional high-rise hotel - and Ocho was the perfect blend of luxury with natural beauty. Very convenient and could walk to all of the great restaurants!

Stunning place to stay! Our room was gorgeous, staff greeted us by name and made sure we had everything we could need. The beach was a 30 second walk from our bungalow. Absolutely wish to stay here again next time I'm in the area.

The location of this property is second to none. It has an upscale yet bohemian vibe. The food was always delicious with lot's of options. Also many gluten-free choices. The property was as beautiful as the pictures. All of the staff were friendly, helpful, and professional, especially Mauricio who brought a fun, positive energy every day. He also gave us great recommendations about the surrounding areas and in Tamarindo. We will likely return because we had such a great experience with him, the Ocho property, and all the staff.

Had the most amazing stay at Ocho Artisan Bungalows. The rooms are decorated beautifully and filled with super helpful hardworking staff who will go above and beyond for your needs. Amazing views and easy access to beach, didn't need to drive around once during our time in Tamarindo as it was in the heart of the best spots. Mauricio, our server for breakfast, was a phenomenal server and especially extremely kind and helpful. 10/10 will be back!

We stayed at Ocho a few weeks ago and I'm still dreaming of it. It was by far the best spot on the beach and I loved the manager's dj play lists and even shazamed them so I could save them! Very chill vibe on the beach and really a perfect location there and then literally a 3 min walk to town. There was also a very cool food truck park right behind and I wish we wouldve ate there more! The bungalows are fantastic with so much charm and rich CR wood. We just loved everything about it. The staff was fantastic... Gio was by far our fav and even saw us out one night. He was so fun and attentive. There was a lady behind the bar that was very bubbly and friendly and another waitress (curly hair) that was so sweet. The food was fantastic, the pool was under utilized by us and everyone really but was very nice and peacefull. the front desk ladies always had good suggestions and were very friendly as well. I would highly recommend staying here and can't wait to come back.

The property is amazing and close to everything. The bungalows are super cute with great ambience. Staff is so friendly and helpful. We had the best time here. The food and drinks at the beach club are awesome. Highly recommend it to anyone coming to Tamarindo.
