"We stayed in Grant’s room. It was neat to think that a former General and President slept on that very bed frame. The house is full of history. The room provided the nostalgia of the past with the modern day comforts of the present. The staff was amazing especially the host, Latonya Brown. She gave a great tour of the house that was very educational. She made us want to come back due to her hospitality. When you stay be sure to stick around for dinner. The pork tenderloin and catfish were fantastic! We loved the history of Vicksburg and look forward to staying here again. "

"This was are first visit to the Anchuca Historic Mansion. We are in love...our room was stunning,#10 .The history of this home is more than I can write. Staff grand, and the food is beyond great. We are looking forward and planning are next stay already, next time room #5."
