"STAY FAR AWAY. My stay at the Basecamp properties was a nightmare. My guide had no idea about wildlife, didn't bring water on a 5 hour drive, & took my camera without permission & started taking photos of me. I requested to switch guides & to be in a car with other guests. For 1 day, I was with other guests, but then was put back in a car alone. "We just completed our stay at Mara Intrepid camp. It was an unforgettable experience! Great location right on the Talek River. Excellent food with lots of options (plus a full bar), and the staff really go out of their way to ensure the comfort of each and every guest. The tents have lots of space and all the comforts we are used to at home. If you’re booking a safari game drive with them, do insist on a Toyota Land Cruiser over the Land Rover."
