A great place to stay in wonderful Khao Lak. Calm, eco-friendly, dog-friendly, very polite staff that always wants to do its best to let you feel comfortable. We will definitely come back! Warmly recommended!

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
There was no staff at check in to help, the property did not match the photos, it was absolutely not walkable to anything as there were no sidewalks or crosswalks and the four lane highway was most definitely not pedestrian friendly.
The “suite” is situated in an un-finished dilapidated building that looks so dirty on the outside it looks like there are no maintenance people within a 100 kilometre radius. The weeds are overgrown, the exterior doors do not lock & there is no exterior lighting. The suite itself is unfinished with random pieces of wood stuck together to resemble drawers and a kitchen sink with no hot water for washing the non-existant utensils is just dropped into a “counter” on a metal rack. As a two bedroom unit, it can sleep four, but there is only seating for two at the kitchen table and couch (which was filthy).
We saw other units - many of the unoccupied suites had open doors- with counters and no cabinets or vice versa, some with exposed studs. It’s like the property owner ran out if money during construction and thought he’d rent them out as-is to recoup his loses.
We were almost traumatized at what we were presented. There is no way we could have slept there, especially with the complete lack of any kind of security measures, we left immediately and found other accommodation.
We now refer to this property as the ptsd unit. I doubt we’ll be able to get any kind of refund either. At the very least, whoever manages this building should be fired.
