The restaurant was awful, I got a bad stomachache, the AC never working properly making sleep really hard, only few members of the staff at the front desk speak English, making comunication almost impossible.

Mercure Hida Takayama
Excellent hotel! Large, clean room with an extremely comfortable bed. Water pressure in the shower is fabulous — super strong. Also, the quality of the water (it feels super soft) is the best I have ever experienced. Location of the hotel is perfect.
