"I've stayed at other Kavia hotels before so the hotel was pretty good overall. The room and bathroom were spacious, the mini fridge worked and the AC was cold. There's no iron or ironing board unless you request them. We experienced power outages every day but that was due to the country's power issues. However, the hotel had no generator so if you happened to be there for a night power outage, you were in the dark. I love the rainfall shower head but the shower tile is very slippery and there's no grab bar. We ended up purchasing a shower mat to provide some traction. The main stairs to the entrance has no railing so we found it safer to access the lobby and our room via the parking garage elevator. There was no bell hop to assist with luggage which was not a problem arriving but with a lot more luggage on departure this proved a bit cumbersome for my Mom and I since she could not handle too much weight. Be aware that the restaurant attached to the hotel is independently operated and the breakfast was good but a bit pricey."
