"Good all round hotel. Enjoyed the river view and convenient for town. The bedroom didn't have any extra items like water, or small body lotion shower gels. Just one soap dispenser bath and wash hand basin. Clean room, quiet. Good evening meal and good choice, I'm gluten free, allergy. Breakfast good , supplied gluten free toast and cereals. Good lounge with outlook to river. Has parking space, unfortunately all booked up. "

"Old shower controls I found hard to use. I had a problem with the door, but a maintenance man came quickly to fix it!"

"Great location and lovely breakfast. Air con not working in the room, reported it and manager came and reset it, worked for 10 minutes and broke again. Too noisy outside to have the window open. Reported our disappointment on check out and ignored. Recommend for location but ask for a room river side. "

"We stayed in a twin room. It was very dark, and the bathroom was quite small. We did not even have a place to hang the hand towel. Room service was quick, but the restaurant was quite slow. Great location!"

"The hotel is lovely and perfect location, we have stayed before but this time the drinks were flat and when we asked for another, they tried to charge us and we went for breakfast at 10am, breakfast is until 11am, there was barely any hot food left and we were told they weren’t making any more. They did eventually make more but by then my partner had finished his food so we left it."
